KTG Caravans, headquartered in the United Kingdom, is a recognised industry leader in the leisure vehicle market. Specialising in the buying, selling, export, and salvage of caravans and motorhomes. KTG Caravans serves a diverse and global clientele, reaching as far afield as Australia and New Zealand.
Goals and Objectives
To design and develop a fully functional system, encompassing both frontend and backend capabilities. This involved creating a high-fidelity mockup, integrating a robust content management system (CMS), implementing a secure payment gateway for seamless transactions, and developing a user-friendly accounts dashboard. Additionally, the project included designing a comprehensive product management and filtering system to enhance user experience and streamline product navigation.
The project commenced with a handover of KTG Caravan's brand collaterals from the creative director. These assets included, but were not limited to, the KTG logos, stylescape, typography and typescale settings, as well as the UI component library, all provided via Figma. These materials formed the foundation for maintaining brand consistency throughout the design and development process.
As the lead designer and developer for this project, I was responsible for designing and creating a high-fidelity mockup, as well as developing both the frontend and backend of the system. This included integrating a content management system (CMS), implementing a secure payment gateway, and developing a comprehensive user accounts dashboard system.
