Goals and Objectives

The goals and objectives of this project is to deliver a high end brand, print media and a quality brochure website for Arkwright and Wills that is in line with the company's visions, goals and values.

Vision : To become the #1 choice for event and wedding production within Scotland & N.England, by being the obvious choice for wedding planners and marquee companies.

This project kicked off with an extensive brand discovery meeting between the content strategist, the creative director and the owners of the company - Arkwright & Wills.  After that, the details of the brand strategy, the visions, and its goals  were all passed down to me to bring to life.

On this project I worked as the principal designer and developer. My role required me to understand and translate all the discovery information and strategy into visuals that aligns with the brands purpose, visions and goals.

The deliverables for this project includes:

Print Media - Brochure

Website

Overall, this project was smooth as butter.  There was regular update and feedback from the client which really helped to keep the design and development inline with the visions and goals of the brand.

The only time I had a challenge was during the printing of the brochure as this part of the project was outsourced to a third party printer. Giving the quality that we were wanting for this client we had to make sure the print was done to perfection - hence pushing the printer to go for a second print.

To ensure that the overall brand identity and its associated tone align with the established goals and objectives, I utilized stylescapes to define and communicate the brand's essence. I presented the client with three distinct options, from which one was selected.

Following the successful selection of the chosen stylescape, I proceeded to the design phase of the logos, as depicted in the visuals below.

Brand Guidelies

I developed a comprehensive brand guidelines as a handover tool for the client, ensuring the Arkwright and Wills brand maintain consistency across all media platforms and print materials.

Careful consideration was taken to make sure the logo is versatile to be used on both square and rectangular surfaces and also contrast very well with the primary colours of the brand.

Print Media

The print media was a 20-page layout copy that needed to be clean cut and handed over to prospective clients or placed at coffee tables. I also went an extra mile to embed the design on the Arkwright and Wills website to give prospective clients the opportunity to have a digital copy at any point in time. Click to view print media
